Fetalix awarded Women TechEU funding to advance preclinical validation

Fetalix has been awarded €75,000 through the Women TechEU programme, an initiative of the European Commission dedicated to supporting women-led deep-tech startups across Europe.

Supporting women-led deep-tech innovation has become an important priority within the European innovation ecosystem, particularly in sectors such as biotechnology, advanced materials, and healthcare technologies where scientific translation requires long-term development and specialized expertise.

Women TechEU is designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage companies developing complex, science-based technologies with high innovation potential. Beyond funding, the programme provides mentoring, business development support, and access to a European network focused on scaling deep-tech innovation.The funding will support the advancement of Fetalix’s regenerative biomaterial technology through preclinical validation activities and continued strengthening of the company’s commercialization strategy, contributing to the translation of its research toward future clinical application.

This recognition reinforces both the scientific and entrepreneurial foundations of Fetalix.
