Fetalix completes first MSc thesis

The first MSc thesis developed within Fetalix, by Leonor Sousa, titled “Fetalix in vivo validation and process scalability,” has recently been completed and defended.

The work, developed in collaboration with Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, focused on key aspects of preclinical validation and process scalability of Fetalix’s regenerative biomaterial technology.

These topics are essential in translating early-stage biomedical innovations into robust and reproducible systems suitable for further development.

This milestone reflects the importance of integrating academic training into Fetalix’s development pathway and reinforces its commitment to advancing regenerative solutions for intervertebral disc degeneration and low back pain.
