Fetalix has been selected to participate in the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pre-Accelerator Programme, marking an important milestone in the company's development. The two-year project will receive more than €450,000 in funding to support the advancement of Fetalix's fetal-inspired regenerative biomaterial for the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration and low back pain.
The project will focus on scaling up the production of the biomaterial and starting the pathway toward regulatory approval. These activities represent essential steps toward establishing a robust manufacturing process and the framework needed to advance the technology toward clinical translation.
