Developing innovative healthcare technologies requires more than scientific excellence; it also depends on engaging future professionals who will help advance biomedical innovation. By providing students with opportunities to experience the translation of research into real-world applications, companies can help foster the next generation of biotechnology innovators.

Fetalix welcomed Margarida de Almeida Rodrigues, a Bioengineering student from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS), for an internship focused on technology translation and market validation.
The goal of the internship is to assess the market potential of Fetalix's regenerative technology for veterinary applications by engaging with veterinarians, pet owners, and other relevant stakeholders to better understand market needs, adoption barriers, and opportunities for future implementation.
By welcoming young talent into its multidisciplinary environment, Fetalix continues to invest in knowledge transfer and innovation while supporting the development of future professionals capable of bridging scientific research and real-world impact.
